Session #40 / Toxic City Mall – Table 2 – Zombicide

Quite a cramped map for tonights game. Only six tiles, but with four spawn zones. With that many zombies coupled with numerous objectives to nab nearly all the survivors reached the exp limit. Early on I succumbed to uncharacteristic boldness in the Mall, and saw one of my chaps bitten and have to struggle on as a zombivor. I blame the heat for that not being my only mistake, luckily I wasn’t alone and my slack was more than made up for. The fighting was incessant but seemed to go so well it was as if we’d played the game a lot, or something. We bled occasionally but were fortunate to have a medic amongst us. With minutes left before we had to pack up we breached the goal, a police station, and made off with the fancy weapons stored in there. Total victory.

Session #39 / Toxic City Mall – Table 2 – Zombicide

Double victory. Hurrah!!

On the newbie table 2 new players picked up the rules and performed like seasoned veterans. It was close, and we had taken a few bruises on the way, but we escaped down the sewers in the nick of time.

With the Pros, Toxic city mall was great fun. We probably ended up using weapons that we should not have done but it balanced out with us going into orange and red and facing more zombies than you would normally want to take on. Good strategy and a determination at the end to beat the clock meant we all dodged the horde and escaped to fight on.

Join us this Wednesday for the last session before the summer break!!!

Session #38 / Toxic City Mall – Table 2 – Zombicide

A glorious victory. A close one, paid for in blood, only some of it our own. We were faced with a quandary early on, to open the door to the mall and let the toxic denizens out even though we weren’t ideally equipped to defeat them, or push on elsewhere. We chose the mall. We riddled those we could with bullets, and accepted the slaps from those we couldn’t. I was impressed at the precision my cohorts brought to bear on the situation. Some wonderful team work too, with items being swapped and support offered where otherwise we may have been trampled by mindless zombies. With but a few minutes in real life to we struggled to free ourselves from a point thta kept on producing just enough zombies to keep us pinned in place, but eventually we shrugged them off and fled into the night, humming the awful music played on a loop in the mall we left behind.

Session #35 / Black Plague, Dracula – Table 2 – Zombicide

Session #35 / Black Plague, Dracula – Table 2 – Zombicide

Total victory tonight. Behind the scenes Dracula had bewtiched some lovely necromancers. Tasked with capturing villagers to take back to him, they failed utterly as each necromancer was tidily destroyed. As were a pair of abominations. An artful mix of caution,...

Session #34 / City Mall – Table 2 – Zombicide

Tonight didn't go as well as it could. Could have been worse though, it could have been raining. We got unlucky early on, with both abominations turning up. Each of us having turns where the dice laughed at us. Made up for last week, with no-one taking a wound. This...

What is Zombicide?

Zombicide is a collaborative game in which players take the role of a survivor – each with unique abilities – and harness both their skills and the power of teamwork against the hordes of unthinking undead! Zombies are predictable, stupid but deadly, controlled by simple rules and a deck of cards. Unfortunately for you, there are a LOT more zombies than you have bullets.

Find weapons, kill zombies. The more zombies you kill, the more skilled you get; the more skilled you get, the more zombies appear. The only way out is zombicide!

Play ten scenarios on different maps made from the included modular map tiles, download new scenarios from the designer’s website, or create your own!
